From crafting a simple component to developing a full-fledged product, strategy is at the heart of my process.
I've led various design thinking workshops aimed at uncovering solutions to intricate problems. These workshops, including co-creation sessions, customer journey mapping, alignment workshops, and securing stakeholder buy-in, play a pivotal role in shaping product vision.

Customer Journey Mapping

Amanda and I worked together on a Con Edison enterprise web and mobile application where she was the lead designer. Amanda spearheaded the UX/UI of our application, and I always leaned on her to give recommendations for the best user experience, which I thoroughly believe we delivered.
Amanda was always extremely receptive to new ideas, solution-oriented, flexible with changing requirements, and a great communicator and team player overall. She has a keen eye for beautiful designs and aesthetics but still comes to the table with an understanding that we may have to pivot based on technical limitations. She was always proactive and gave her time to meet with our developers and give timely feedback on implementation.
She also led usability sessions where we were able to get feedback directly from our intended end users and tweak features to make sure they were accessible and easy to use. I will miss working with Amanda as she always provided high quality work, was detail-oriented, and a true expert in her craft. Any organization would be lucky to have her!

Improving Processes and Fostering Collaboration
Apart from enhancing design processes, I'm committed to fostering better collaboration among engineers and product teams to standardize our processes.
I implemented the use of Azure DevOps to track design deliverables and manage QA tasks and feedback efficiently.
Additionally, I developed a Usability Testing guide for our product and design teams, aimed at addressing challenges encountered during testing sessions.
Ensuring Design Quality
Collaborating with engineering is crucial to the success of any project. I strive to maintain a high bar of quality by continuously improving my craft, seeking out the technical feasibility of my designs, and providing engineers with timely feedback. I also strive to actively participate in user story creation with product owners, backlog grooming sessions, bug bashing sessions, dedicated weekly Dev/Design sessions, and conducting Design QA through all phases of development.
